Just a reminder that Gene will be speaking at Nick Bacon's funeral today (Saturday, July 24th). Nick was well known and loved by many in Arkansas and across this country so no doubt the funeral will be well attended. Please pray for Gene to be led and strengthened by God's Spirit as he gives the gospel and encouragement to all in attendance. Gene will be arriving in Little Rock from Australia about 12 hours previous to the funeral so he will be tired and jet lagged, pray for his physical strength and alertness as well.
Continue to pray for Tammy, the children and grandchildren to be comforted by God's love and grace. Tammy is a dear friend of mine, she has shown amazing humility and strength during this past year of ministering to Nick during his battle with cancer. It was obvious to all around her that her Lord was enabling her for this task and she served with His unfailing love.
